Pros: Materials, Finish, Blade Material, Weight, Sheath/Scabbard
Great blade and sheathe combination.
I have not used this blade for any real tasks as yet, mostly slicing food items around the house just to test the edge I put on the blade. I do take this knife with me whenever I go wandering and have used it when gathering mushrooms. The size, weight, and balance of the knife are just right for me. The contours of the handle fit my hands well, though I am undecided regarding the Kraton / ABS scales. The Kraton is a little slippery to me, compared with the G10 scales on the Legion. I like the way the knife "snaps" into the sheathe with slight tension on the blade, reducing rattling. I also really like that the sheathe is ambidextrous, allowing left or right hand draw. The molle webbing on the sheathe is great, allowing optional mounting other than wearing on a belt. The webbing on the front of the sheathe is also a nice touch. The removable sheathe liner is a great idea. The liner can be replaced or one can make their own custom liner to fit. (Something I may do in the future) The blade came somewhat sharp, but not sharp enough for my standards. I took a little time to touch up the edge to my liking. My only real "complaint" with the knife is that the thin coating on the handle is peeling away where the inner tab on the sheathe contacts the handle.
