Absolutely flawless
I never found much need for a pocket machete, even on a walkabout. This little bear right here is the most perfect edc I've ever come across. Starting with the blade, it came very sharp. It was not up to my personal standards, but out of the box you could shave your beard off with it from the factory with a little razor burn. What I loved was that every knife I've ever bought, I have had to re-bevel out of box. That includes some very costly semi-custom hunting knives. But this blade came flat ground at ten degrees, right to the edge, expertly sharpened. It holds an edge as long as my ZT short run 0770 in CPM-M4 that I had retempered to 65 by Peters. I am very impressed with this knife. The action is as smooth as cooking oil, and the fit and fishish make it a masterpiece. Worth every penny, and that's coming from right at forty years of Survivin' with Ivan.
