LNSR1ARB: SR-1A RB Black Blade, Red Aluminum Handle
New version of the SR-1 model with single-piece shell in Ergal Aluminium. The blade is D2 tool steel, available in satin or MilSpec finish, chemical black. The anodized aluminium used comes in four different colors: Black, Green, Red and Orange. The SR-1's feature a monolithic knife and frame-lock system, designed by Molletta. The aluminium shell results in a lighter knife than its Titanium "brother". It weighs a mere 5.57 oz. (158 g).

The knife has a RotoBlock safety system patented by LionSteel. With a simple rotation of the Rotoblock you will fix the blade in open position. The aluminum toolbar has been reinforced with a hardened steel insert. This insert prevents the hard steel blade to wear out the final part of the toolbar. The supplied key allows you to adjust the blade screw and fix the clip. The screw clip is equipped with glass-breaker.

Cons: Weight, None
Quality knife
This was my first high end carry blade I used to EDC and I love having something so beautiful and yet so practical in my pocket every day. I use it primarily for farm work along with a Esee 3 I always carry. The D2 keeps it's edge but takes awhile to sharpen. My only negative complaint about this knife is that after using it for a few days the pivot screw will start to loosen and i'll have to tighten it. It's not a big deal but it's a little annoying. It doesn't affect the lockup of the knife at all and it's not going to fall apart...just a note. Other wise great blade
