Description
LNTM1MS: TM1 Micarta with Satin Blade
LionSteel

Following the previous solid SR-1 and TiSpine models, both frame lock folding knives, LionSteel decided to launch a solid knife with lockback. The task was a challenge, considering their decision to use carbon fiber or Micarta for the monolithic one-piece construction of the handle using four-centerline machining stations. The blade is available either satin finished or black. The clip can be fitted on either side of the handle, making this knife totally ambidextrous. The double spring lock back mechanism ensures greater flexibility in the mechanism and improved durability of the locking system.

Each TM1 is fitted with a glass breaker and a tungsten carbide point. To enhance the knife mechanism, it has been supplemented with the IKBS pivot system which envisages ball bearings to facilitate the blade sliding motion. It's much smoother and faster than other knives in this category, which is the beefy, tactical blade. Design by Molletta, the TM1 has a much more ergonomic shape than previous LionSteel models and the blade shape is ideal. For my money, the handle and overall size of the knife is perfection, right in-between the SR-1 and SR-2 models and is made with the same, unflinching quality.

Wow! Another great Lionsteel!!
This is one of Lionsteel's best knives. It is buttery smooth and flicks open with ease. The build quality is spot on with this one just like my other Lionsteels.

Another nice LionSteel!
I have a few LionSteel knives and I really am impressed with their build quality and clever design. This knife really does open and close like a bank vault and was easy to open and close right out of the box. The lock-back mechanism might be my favorite and works so easily, I wish some of my other lock-back worked as well. The other nice point is the clip screwed into the butt of the grip. You get a nice deep carry and I don't know why it is not used more. I am going to use this as my EDC and I am very happy with it. I hope the micarta holds up appearance-wise, and does not get frayed on the edges, I will find out!

Moltissimo eccellenza!
Overall a great $200-ish EDC beater. Weight is blade biased so a slightly thicker micarta handle would be nice to see or better yet, a titanium monoblock handle version. Arrived super sharp with a lubricated handle and blade. Much 'gripier' after a wipe-down. Maybe one of the best liner-lock knives available and fits well in the hand. Super deep pocket clip for a corporate carry (looks like a pen...>;o) Blade centering...9/10. Weight...a bit light for it's size. Overall construction...near flawless. Design...perfetto, grazie Moletta!
