Pros: Effectiveness, Overall Quality, Ease of Use
The pictured sharpener is not the one I received, however, I did already own one just like it but wanted two. Anyway, the one that I did receive is the medium I believe, with black ends. Which is fine with me since, to my surprise, is so nice that I rarely have to use the Fine green-ended one anymore. It is that good. I believe they are ceramic, and so harder than most steels (if not all....) They are kind of a bear to keep clean, but well worth it. Very few swipes on most knives, even the 400 series, and hair trembles and flees from your arm in a panic. The triangle shape is great because of the slightly rounded corners which are usable for serated knives. (Lansky even has a couple of models of these sharpeners that sport customized corners to fit specific brands' seration patterns.) The fishook groove is a nice touch. They are small, but with some patience can be used on longer blades. They belong in packs or kits when space and weight are an issue. Or the pocket for everyday keep up on your EDC. Great Value. Good Quality. Like it a lot.
