International Cutlery Distributors, LLC
MCUSTA knives are made in Seki City, Japan and are the pinnacle of this synthesis between traditional Japanese craftsmanship and modern cutting edge technology.
MCUSTA does not use the conventional method of die stamping their blades like most mass produced knives. Components are laser cut and C&C machined to assure the best possible precision fit. This is an important step in the production of a superior blade. Each knife is then hand assembled and hand finished and inspected by MCUSTA's team of craftsmen. This process creates a superior knife at a reasonable price.
MCUSTA, which stands for Machine Custom Knives, are among the finest production knives made anywhere in the world!
The Basic series Folders have a simple elegant design with contoured finger grooves, easy one hand opening liner lock mechanism and exotic handle materials. Each knife has a specially designed, Teflon washer system for silky smooth additional knives are hand finished. The MC1 Series have an integral pocket clip and are slimmer.

Versatile gentleman folder
When you'll be tired with spyderco's and holes , 'tacticool design', G10 sold for the price of ivory and 'ergonomicaly designed' shapes, you may appreciate the (not so) classical lines of mcusta knives. Then you'll be shocked by the quality, wich is unbeatable at the price tag. This is my third Mcusta, wich live well with my numerous Al Mar's and Sebenza/Umnumzaan. Choosing one is only a question of taste, the quality is strictly the same wathever is the model. Here Corian, a very interesting material, always warm in hand, rugged but incredibly smooth and beautifully polished. You can go wrong with Mcusta knives. The best sharpness 'out the box' and easy to maintain.

Beautiful Damascus blade folder
This is a beautiful folder with one of the best Damascus blades I have seen. It is also very well made and opens smooth. The finger grooves in the handle work very well.
