Great value knife!
Ordered this knife not knowing what to expect, there are a few reviews out there and mostly positive so I took the chance since it was on sale. The knife arrived, it is a big heavy knife with a unique design. I love the carbon fiber and the finish is pretty good! The knife came sharp out of the box and the thickness of the blade is apparent. The knife feels sturdy in the hands and the handle material is amazing. A little large for edc but definitely doable. I can't stop touching the real carbon fiber. The carbon fiber/g10 joint is pretty good. I like Greg Lightfoot's designs and this was a budget entry. The only gripe I have is the thumbstud which looks cheap, but an easy ebay fix. Definitely recommend this knife to add to your collection, definitely not for those who prefer light knives. Thanks Knife Center for the quick and hassle free shipping. Will definitely get more knives off you guys!

Very "cool", sturdy knife
I am extremely pleased with this knife purchase, which I made during one of Knife Center's generous free shipping deals. It is a big folder and very sharp...hair shaving out of the box. The blade is thick, but can still be quickly flicked out with pressure on the thumb stud and a flick of the wrist. In my experience, not all Meyerco folders can do this (at least the one or two less expensive ones I had purchased in the past.) The point of the knife looks strong, but partially rounded off, thus it does not look like a big, pointy "tactical knife" (thus less likely to draw negative attention from certain types of people). Rather it looks to me like a potential folding survival knife. It is a knife you might actually have with you when needed, if one does not like toting a fixed blade into a convenience store while out on a minor adventure. The look of the blade is a bit odd but unique and interesting.
