MNTMT72AS: MT7.2 AS Folding Pry Knife, Besh Wedge Tip
Mantis Knives
You'll notice straight away, that the blade style on this knife is quite different than any other. The Besh Wedge blade design is a capable cutter but designed for the more strenuous task of prying which causes havoc on most conventional blade shapes. The techno-styled grind lines and the random divot symmetry scream MANTIS while the chisel ground, black coated blade screams "use me, hard!" The knife features a deep carry pocket clip, machined G10 handles, and a strong liner lock mechanism. The unconventional Besh Wedge design allows the buyer to use the knife effectively in far more situations without fear of breaking or damaging the knife. It's a blade meant for prying and it's definitely stout enough to take whatever is thrown it's way.

Pros: Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness, Lock Ease of Use, Weight, Lock Type, Blade Material, None
Cons: Handle Feel
Not bad
This is worth a 3.5 star rating in reality. The lock up is very secure, the opening is easy and smooth, the blade is decently sharp (not a huge fan of chisel grinds though), very cool blade design, and it feels pretty good in the hand. However, the G10 definitely should have more grip, it's a bit too slick. The blade centering is quite good, although it's a bit hard to tell because of the way the knife is ground at the tip, and it's shape in general. Like I said, very cool blade design, different for sure. But I like that because would you rather blend in or stand out?

Pros: Lock Ease of Use, Handle Feel, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Pocket Clip, None
I like the knife. Opening and closing are smooth and it feels nice and crisp. Blade seems to be of good quality and came nice and sharp. Knife feels good in the hand. Having problems with the clip. Bent and twisted the clip on 4th day of wearing it. Bent it back in place. Two days later it was bent and twisted again. Possibly hanging on seat belt when getting out. Now it's sitting in drawer. Not sure what to do to fix issue with that.
