MT1382: Troodon Double Edge
Microtech Knives
Named after the Troodon (troh-o-don) Dinosaur, this knife defines the new era for Microtech Knives. Troodon is Greek for "wounding tooth". New enhancements include a new slender handle, contoured shape and radical design elements, as well as a sophisticated internal mechanism, which improves operational functionality and reliability. The Troodon brings together a new out-the-front technology with the feel of a Microtech classic. This project was spear headed personally by Anthony Marfione and consisted of an internal collaboration of the Microtech team. The Troodon was the flagship for Microtech's entire 2006 out-the-front line.

AWESOME Microtech!!!
I purchased this Troodon OTF after returning the Conquest Tactical Fury OTF. It was a little more expensive, but well worth it. It's like night & day between the knives. The Troodon has a strong smooth blade action. No blade wobble! Fires 100% of the time. This is by far one of my favorite knives. The blade is very sharp and I love the design. Still can't believe how smooth it is! ;>)

Microtech makes quality knives
I have several Microtech knives. Each Microtech is custom built and has its own attitude. I use them as a daily carry knive. They stay sharp and are easy to sharpen. I do the my that Microtech needs to tighten up on the delivery times. I waited for 2 years for my Troodon- although it was very different from any one I had seen.
