Maxpedition Hard-Use Gear

Excellent organization in a narrow profile that stays behind your body.

The Falcon II Backpack is the quintessential Maxpedition product: Durable, ergonomic and intelligently designed. This medium bodied pack is thoroughly constructed with 1050-Denier water and abrasion resistant nylon; yet its ergonomic shape, padded shoulder straps and sturdy sternum and waist support make it an absolute delight to wear.

Further examination will reveal that the Falcon II has layered independent compartments with more pockets, pouches and PALS attachment points than most backpacks twice its size. Pull the dual-directional YKK zippers and expand the main compartment into a full clamshell opening.

You'll find that the Falcon II is surprisingly spacious with room to accommodate your camping essentials and two (2) 100oz/3L water reservoirs. Pack it up and press it down with front and side compression straps, then head out on a hike or overnight with a premium Maxpedition backpack.

Maxpedition Backpacks

Maxpedition Backpacks are built for hauling gear and ergonomically designed to never drag you down. Curvaceous, foam-padded double shoulder straps contour to your chest and a sternum suspension belt helps distribute weight evenly throughout your upper body, so you can carry a load without falling behind.

Made with high quality nylon stitching, self-repairing YKK zippers and a durable water-resistant exterior; Maxpedition Backpacks have multiple compartments and pockets and offer plenty of space for mission essentials, camping gear, hydration reservoirs, laptops, textbooks and CCW.

Pros: Usability, Stitching, Functionality, Material Quality
Cons: None
I carry the Falcon-II backpack for a few weeks now, mostly for college and some outdoor activities. I looked for a new pack that would be tough, light weight and not too big. Eventually after reading a lot of reviews about Maxpedition and its quality gear, I ended up buying the Falcon-II in Khaki. This pack is a tough one overall. The first time you'll pick it up will say enough. Every part of it is high-grade material with a superb finish. YKK khaki colored zippers, super stitching, lightweight, and for my suprise, it's quite ergonomic. I'm 6 feet and the pack fits me great. The use of the compression straps makes it unique and small, so as all the other adjustable straps around. It has a lot of space if needed, and it isn't to hard to acces your stuff. For the cons, I really haven't found a bad one for now. Maybe the high quantity of straps on the pack could make it confusing the first few times using it. Also, when it's compressed, there will be a few straps hanging out at the bottom, but you easily could get rid of them by folding them inside the webbing. Anyway, not a big deal for me. Probbably for the next 10 years or so, I won't be worrying about a new backpack. This little monster will last for quite some time. Thanks KC for the great service ;)
