Clever, Nimble, Dangerously Sharp little big knife...
This is a small very sharp knife. The steel blade is precisely ground and the curve of the edge makes it very useful for skinning game. The small well shaped handle provides a secure hold but has limits in holding options. The Deirin handle and sheath material is slippery and provides little friction for griping. The sheath retainer holds the knife securely however; it is difficult to return the very sharp blade into the sheath without shaving plastic from the retaining button. Deirin is soft and is easily cut by the blade. The sheath has a plastic pocket clip that points the handle down inside your pocket. The cord material is too large to pass thru the provided hole in the tip of the sheath. The swivel snap is well-made and provides optional carrying positions. The design of the knife makes it likely to cut the user if care is not taken returning the blade to the sheath. I like it regardless of its short comings.
