Well built
I got this for a Benchmade bushcrafter, I didn't like the kydex sheath it came with. This one fits well with good retention and the molle straps right up to my GHB. Very good sheath and protects the knife edge well.

Versatile Sheath
I purchased this because the I lost the sheath for my Tops B.O.B. Fieldcraft knife and they do not have a replacement on their website. I couldn't find one anywhere online. After a bit of research I found this sheath, took a look at the specs for the Blackbird (and the Tak 1 as a previous reviewer mentioned) and deduced that it SHOULD fit my Fieldcraft knife. Well, it does. Beautifully. The knife sits securely in the sheath, doesn't rattle around and the edge doesn't contact the side so it won't dull the knife. Nice.

A Wonderful Cordura Sheath, Made in the USA by Eagle Industries
This sheath, made by Eagle Industries, is one of the nicest Cordura/Nylon sheaths I've seen, and a major step up from the typical Ontario offerings. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great sheath for a NW Ranger, or similar 5" bladed knife. FWIW, I like to treat my nylon/Cordura with Kiwi Camp Dry Fabric Protector, (non-silicone,) which makes a big difference in rain, and helps water bead off rather than sink in.
