Pros: Blade Material, Lock Ease of Use, Pocket Clip, Overall Quality, Weight, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Material, None
Fantastic knife and value
I am very very impressed with this knife. The handle is a touch on the thin side for my large hands, so I will be leaving the clip on (don't usually like clips) since it gives my forefinger a little extra bulk to wrap around. but the grip is fairly long end-to-end and plenty of space for all of my fingers. The grip is certainly well textured, so no worries about slippage, even if the material is hard polymer. The clip can be attached front or back, on either side.My one gripe about the grip is that the forefinger recess is less deep on the right side than the left, and the blade unlock lever is quite prominent in the recess. This means that the forefinger has a less deep recess to plant in. It is better for right-handed use than for left. The handle length makes it relatively large overall, but it is slim and light. The blade is super sharp. It is easy to set in motion with thumb and forefinger on the blade lugs, and then finish the motion with thumb. The blade locks into position with a clear audible 'snap' and never feels like it is going to unlock by accident in use (provided that you keep your thumb up top where it is meant to be, and don't rotate the knife in your hand, letting your thumb stray near the unlock lever, which, as already stated above, is quite prominent in the forefinger recess). There is absolutely zero play in the blade. Between the edge, the AUS8 material and the solid mechanism, this seems like a knife with great longevity.Leaving aside my minor gripe (which is my personal preference for big handles and deep finger recesses), this a fantastic knife and a steal at a discounted price, with options on blade style and finish.
