Pros: Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: Blade Sharpness, None
almost what I wanted
to replace an old air force survival knife because the leather handle grew a mold problem. Love the fit and feel in my hand and the overall ergonomics. The sheath seems great after using it on 6 or so day hikes and in the garden. It`s a very utilitarian sheath and if it holds up with time it will be great. The rope cutting thing gets in the way and is, in fact, a minor hazard as it snags on clother etc. Can`t gig them for this because it was in the picture and description when I ordered it. The stone is a cheapy for emergency use only, which is what it is there for. Use something better for routine sharpening. I did gig them 1 point because ti came literally duller than a cheap butter knife. The only reason I can think a survival knife would come this dull is Ontario`s complete comtempt for the customer.
