1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Zytel Handles
Zytel Handles
A nylon polymer that is lightweight and extremely durable, Zytel can be shaped and textured to provide excellent grip.

Alot of knife for the money!
This is a very nice knife. It will be attached to my grab-n-go vest. Very sharp and great balance. The only negative is the sheath. Overall im happy with this product!

Great knife
I had one of these and carried it as a survival knife when flying in West Africa, around the Caribbean, all over Central America and the North part of South America. I was always comfortable with it in the leg pocket of my flight suit and under my pillow at night. It takes a nice edge and has good balance if you ever need to fight with it. I gave it to a friend who was still flying when I quit and I got to missing it. Bought this one and it is just as nice. Matter a fact I like the blade finish better. I was hoping the sheath would accommodate inverted carry on my back pack and it does, so I am delighted. It's like having my old friend back. Price is right too!
