Photon Micro-Light II , Red
with Key Ring, On/Off and push-button switch
features include:
* Red Light. This intense color is favored by pilots, sailors, and fishermen for the excellent ability to preserve night vision and also for uses of safety, signaling, and map reading. Ideal for finding your seat and reading programs in theaters. 630 nm.
All colors of light are great for the night stand, glove box, zipper, key ring, purse, or fanny pack. Red is an internationally recognized attention color.
* On/off switch--The most obvious of the new features.
* Case--The new case is made of glass-filled polyurethane making the Photon II more durable than ever.
* Screws--The Photon II uses four high quality "0" (Aught) screws to hold the case together.  This makes it much easier to replace the battery.
* Shines an astonishingly bright beam illuminating any path.
* Hides under a quarter and is the same weight, a mere 5 1/2 grams.
* Gold Plated Leads! Gold plating improves the electrical contact with the battery and also protects the Photon light from corrosion.
* Visible for more than a mile!
* Used alone or easily attaches to key ring or zipper.
* Guaranteed for life.
* Makes it possible to always have light.
* Great Gift Idea! * NASA Approved! Photon lights have been used by astronauts on several shuttle missions.
* Minimum of two years use on the original replaceable Eveready lithium battery.
*Options of Key style or Lanyard. Key style pictured above. Lanyard style pictured to the right (clip attached by a flexible black 2 1/4" long cord) allows for increased flexibility of use. The small nickel plated clip is secure and will hold tightly to anything it is attached to without damage. Easily worn on the collar or belt loop. Many women clip it to their purse strap, key ring, or clothing.

The Best I Have Used
I keep several of these around-especially the red one. I have navigated through the woods with a red one in total darkness, I always have one on my keychain and one on the zipper of my motorcycle jacket. What makes the Photon II the best is an actual dip switch for on and off, and they run forever. I have had many other brands and they all failed eventually. Also, by having a physical switch-it doesn't come on by accident-especially when pulling surveillance and give away your position. I even have one hanging in my truck to keep my night vision if I need to look for something. I was assigned a mission once to see how far I could penetrate a compound at night-through the woods and around construction, and past three mobile patrol units. I took my Photon II, cupped it in my hand and navigated in total darkness w/o being seen. So I guess you could say I truly love this product. I probably own about 10 of them now-some red and a few in white. I also made sure my mother and my fiance have a red and white one each with their key rings, just as they have a revolver, pepper spray and a knife in their cars for security too. The Photon II has also come in handy for those emergency battery changes on night vision scopes and making sure that tree branch you just tripped over isn't Jake ther Snake!

Excellent light
A handy "stay on" switch, good power and brightness, I love the red for keeping my night vision. I keep an extra on my leather jacket zipper pull for my motorcycle

Surprisingly small and bright
I'm in Afghanistan on a black-out base. That means zero lights at night, and no white lights allowed. This little light is plenty bright for me to see where I'm going and small enough not to notice in my pocket. Short relative battery life will mean I have to keep plenty of batteries on hand. Batteries not available here on base. :( MADE IT TO A SMALL BASE IN AFGHANISTAN 6 DAYS FROM DATE OF ORDER!
