PU116375: Puma White Hunter Stag Handle Fixed Blade 5.9" Blade Length

The White Hunter is the ultimate outdoorsman’s knife, originally designed by African professional hunters. It features a curved blade for cutting, slicing and skinning and a strong back edge for hacking. Handmade by skilled craftsmen with true naturally-dropped stag antlers, it has a 5.9-inch blade, 10.6 inch overall length, custom proofed Rockwell hardness, and comes with a leather sheath.

Since it was formed on the Wupper River in 1769, PUMA® has set the standard that established Solingen, Germany as the world’s premier knife manufacturing center. PUMA® is, in fact, the 8th oldest trademark in Germany. PUMA® has been distributed in the United States since 1957 and has established a strong reputation for high-quality hunting, sporting and gentleman’s knives.

Hunters and craftsmen know and trust PUMA®’s performance, heritage and technology. The highest grades of stainless steel, innovative designs, genuine stag handles, and traditional German craftsmanship are why PUMA® knives are considered at the top of every major ranking of classic hunting and sporting knives.

Still have it
Purchased my knife in 1962 for 13 Australian pounds, still have it. Travelled all round the world with it in 1971/2, couldn't do that today. Lost a Bowie in the garden in 1975, found it 6 years later worse for wear, sent it back to factory in Germany, they replaced it...hows that for service

Puma White Hunter
Purchased my Puma White Hunter in Salzburg Austria in 1970. I was surprised to see they still make the identical knife in 2014. Paid 20 dollars US back then. I've used it for 44 years and it still looks new. I've put leather conditioner on the sheath to keep it from deteriorating, which has worked very well. Talk about ROI. But ,this baby is a family heirloom now and thats what buying quality is all about, longevity.
