ESEE Knives
Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. Many of our knives now serve in combat zones around the globe. Our knives have a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. ESEE Knives is also setting the standard for many local, state and federal law enforcement officers when it comes to high performance, compact sheath knives with multiple carry options. The NTOA scored our 3-inch fixed blade a 4.77 out of a possible 5. In addition to our knives, we also offer survival, land navigation, tracking and other training courses along with free survival information.

These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

ESEE-3s are shipped with a sheath instruction sheet (below) and Survival Business Card.

1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Kydex Sheath
Kydex Sheath
Waterproof, scratch resistant, and low friction. It will hold its shape and makes a great alternative to leather.
Micarta Handles
Micarta Handles
Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.

Pack All Day Wonder Blade !
I thought I wanted an Esee 5 until I seen how beefy it was in person. This blade was more than what I was looking for in a hiking, camping, outdoor utility, knife. Ergonomics and materials are well thought out. Superb edge grind from the factory, and the coating holds up better than expected. Multiple carry option sheath is a bonus.

i love the knife except it is the wrong one. i did not order a modified pommel. i wanted to be able to break glass if needed. i did not want to send it back because i needed it now. but everything else is great.

My new favorite all arounder
A real workhorse. Small enough for getting into hard to fit places, strong enough to baton down a tree. It exudes quality, hard to beat Esee. Ideal hiking/backpacking general purpose knife... don't leave home without it kinda thing.
