ESEE Knives
This is the longer, thicker "wilderness" model of the popular ESEE-3 tactical knife. With its 3/16" thickness, full flat grind, rounded pommel, Micarta handles and light weight, it can serve as a primary backpacking and wilderness survival knife, or fitted to your modular system for duty carry in a tactical environment.

ESEE-4P-CP includes a coyote brown molded sheath, clip plate and paracord (no MOLLE back).

These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Micarta Handles
Micarta Handles
Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.

This knife is incredible
This is my first knife from ESEE and I'm loving it. I use this baby for everyday things on the farm, cutting, chopping, scraping, etc and it's not faltered once in any task. The feel of the handle is great, although it is a bit small as noted here previously. I do think that this is negated by the thumb grooves on the back of the blade however as u can use them to get a more solid grip. Blade came sharp out of the box(sharp enough to cut my thumb when I was inspecting it :) ) Just the beefiness of the blade tells you that this thing is serious and can take on any task you put before it. I will def be buying more ESEE products in the future and they will be bought from knife center!

Great Knife, Great Service
This ESEE knife is everything I hoped it would be. It is a bomb proof piece of gear that will stand up to anything I need it for. Sturdy, well ballanced, razor sharp, and extremely well made. Knife Center delivered superb customer service. They shipped the knife the next day to my APO address with no issues. I will buy another ESEE knife, and it will be bought through Knife Center.
