ESEE Knives
This is the longer, thicker "wilderness" model of the popular ESEE-3 tactical knife. With its 3/16" thickness, full flat grind, rounded pommel, Micarta handles and light weight, it can serve as a primary backpacking and wilderness survival knife, or fitted to your modular system for duty carry in a tactical environment.

ESEE-4P-CP-MB includes coyote brown molded sheath, clip plate, MOLLE back and paracord.

These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Micarta Handles
Micarta Handles
Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.

Great service! The knife is the right size for my needs and I feel that is a very practical size. After this purchase, I bought the ESEE 5 and they are both excellent knifes. Buy it for the Zombie invasion.

New Favorite
This is a tough, beautifully constructed knife with a razor sharp edge. It is substantial enough for all my camp chores while being compact and light enough for comfortable all-day carry. It is coming with me on my next hunt. I liked the edge-keeping and ease of sharpening of the carbon steel blade. The sheath system is a bit complicated, but once figured out, it offers a wide range of carry options. It's my new go-to knife for my adventures.

Got this as a Christmas present for my husband, he LOVES it. He loves the quality and the life time guarantee that Esse has. It's a little to big to carry around day to day but he really likes it.
