ESEE Knives
Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. Many of their knives now serve in combat zones around the globe. The knives have a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. ESEE Knives is also setting the standard for many local, state and federal law enforcement officers when it comes to high performance, compact sheath knives with multiple carry options. The NTOA scored the 3-inch fixed blade a 4.77 out of a possible 5. In addition to knives, ESEE also offers survival, land navigation, tracking and other training courses along with free survival information.

The ESEE-6 is a wilderness survival and tactical knife that might just be the best all-around fixed blade on the market. With its 0.1875" blade thickness, it's the perfect blend between toughness and cutting efficiency all in a very svelte package. If you can only choose one fixed blade, then the ESEE-6 is the one for us! These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH. The handles have Micarta scales that are durable and water resistant. The knife also features spine jimping, full tang construction, lanyard hole, and finger choil. The knife comes with a molded plastic sheath, clip plate, paracord lanyard, and cord lock.

1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Micarta Handles
Micarta Handles
Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: None
Allot of people are paying way too much for a knife these days that wont measure up or they are afraid to use, the most fun of a knife is using a really great one for whatever the intended purposes are. Many people are not paying enough, well thats a different story i am sure. The E-6 is IMO one of the best if not the very best value for a great all around knife. Get a set of G-10 Knife Connection scales, add a Gods Speed Tactical Custom kydex sheath of your chioce, you will like it so much you will oder another as i have done several times. The Essee knives optioned out or stock are a real value and treamendous design and manufacturing accomplishment by any standards, bar none. Stay sharp. Acid

Excellent Knife
I purchased the ESEE 6 to use here in Afghanistan on my current deployment, and am thus far VERY impressed with its quality, ruggedness and its ability to keep an edge...i would recommend ESEE knives to anyone looking for true dependability in a Blade, whether it be for combat operations, hiking, camping or Whatnot, the quality of the knife and sheath are in my opinion outstanding.
