ESEE Knives
Here at KnifeCenter, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin are two of our favorite human beings. Another one of our favorite human beings is photographer and outdoorsman Terril Hoffman. Imagine how excited, but not surprised, we were when Terril put his take on the ESEE-6 and out came this great utility fighter!
Designed by Terrill Hoffman, the ESEE-CM6 is the joining of Tactical & Practical making this new knife at home in the American forests or the battlefields around the world. The 5-7/8" drop point blade of the CM6 is sized to complete the hardest task without adding excessive weight to your gear load. The sharpened upper swedge enhances penetration, while the full sized Canvas Micarta handle is shaped to provide a secure and stable grip.

1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Kydex Sheath
Kydex Sheath
Waterproof, scratch resistant, and low friction. It will hold its shape and makes a great alternative to leather.
Micarta Handles
Micarta Handles
Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.

I *Like* the Slim Handle Scales
The slim handle makes the knife more nimble, a desirable feature for a combat knife. I've grown frustrated with blocky handles, to be honest. A large hand can adjust to a slim handle, but a small hand cannot adjust to a fat one. I think that ESEE hit this one out of the park.

Great knife
Excellent blade from ESEE. I just received Serial # 0020, I was surprised at how thin the handles were, but I like it. This blade really needs some jimping. That's the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating.
