Real Workhorse of a Blade
For an reasonably priced fixed blade(even better on sale) I was pleasantly surprised with the heft & design of this Remington piece, good, sharp, thick blade seems cable of most tasks without constant resharpening. The 440A blade is not my first go-to material but those Italians have a way with heat treating that seems to work better than American forging. Swings well, chops without ringing & grips nicely without snagging on clothing. Sheath is very water-resistant & loosened a bit after a week or so of removal/insertions. For the money, a great handful of quality blade.

Great knife
Using the knife on regular hikes, not for hardcore work. It feels good in the hand even with the rubber handle. Came very sharp out of the box. The sheath is great with one issue - the rubber clip ring gets cut every time I take the knife out so I don't think it will stay intact for long. Otherwise very good piece of work and undoubtedly great value for money.

Remington premier excursion
Knife seems to be well made, blade very sharp new, time will tell how well the blade holds up to use and repeated sharpening.. purchased as a gift for someone, believe it will be a everyday belt carry. i was impressed with the sheath.
