RK2012572: Limited Edition Damascus Blue Canoe
The Klaas Solingen Blue Canoe knife is a wonderful addition to any collection. Each knife is individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity and tin carry case. The handles are made from polished blue acrylic with stainless steel bolsters and a gold Kissing Cranes logo. The two blades are made from beautiful Klaas damascus with a nice acid etched raindrop pattern for a great looking, great using steel.
Each original Klaas pocket knife, made in Solingen with bergischer passion, is unique!
Why is that?
Certainly there are many knife manufacturers all over the world. Some of you create quality pocket knife and maybe also have beautiful and modern machinery. However, only very few have mastered the ability to produce mainly a pocket knife in a factory in honest craftsmanship.
For the production of Robert Klaas pocket knives they use no parts from injection molding or die casting. The nickel-silver jaws are shaped, for example, on the "thick Loni" - a monster press -
and the springs and brass stamped from their own tools.
After more than 100 different operations an original Klaas knife comes together made from quality materials, created by experienced professionals, extremely durable, and with edge retention of high quality.
