Rockstead Knives are, in our opinion, some of the best knives available on the market. With Rockstead's meticulous craftsmanship and unique designs, this compact semi-custom neck knife is worth every penny. The CHOU-IW neck knife features a 1.875" YXR7, DLC polished blade and ironwood handles. Its slim compact profile makes it virtually unnoticeable when carrying around your neck or in your pocket. The incredible mirror finish is achieved by heat treating the blade and gradually hand grinding through 400, 600, 800, 1,200 and 2,000 grits wet-dry sandpaper. This is very intense and time-consuming because if any scratches were to occur during this process, the blade must be sent back to the previous step for refinishing. Once this is complete, the blade will be buffed for the final finish. The folks at Rockstead have mastered this process to give the knife a beautiful finish and sharp edge like no other. The CHOU-IW neck knife fits nice and snug in the include Kydex sheath.

With proper maintenance, Rocksteads are known to keep a sharp edge for 2-3 years. Rockstead Knives come with free sharpening and regrinding. You would be responsible for shipping charges to and from Japan.

Cons: None
Outstanding. This piece is my introduction into Rockstead knives. A bit steep, but I took the plunge based on the all of the hype. doesn't disappoint. Perfection in every area, especially blade sharpness. I have full customs that aren't this good. And to agree with one reviewer, it is so good that I would buy it again at the same price. In fact, I'm selling off some other items so I can get one of their folders. And I'll definitely being buying from Knifecenter. This was also my first time to buy from here. Very pleased with everything so far. Thanks!

So good I would buy another one, even at the price!
Spectacular small knife. Even at the price of rockstead knives, the materials and quality make this knife genuinely worth the price for a blade that is sharp, stays sharp, and performs much better than it's diminutive size.
