RST9611: Megalodon 2017 Titan
Real Steel Knives
At the request of many of their fans, Real Steel has re-dedicated themselves to the Megalodon. However, Real Steel would not be Real Steel if they were satisfied with a simple relaunch of the old model. They have taken the strengths of the original megalodon on the basis of your feedback and reviewed and revitalized every single component. The result is a Megalodon, which at first glance looks like its predecessor, but it's surpassing it in blade steel, blade finish, and many other details. This makes it interesting not only for users with the highest demands but also for collectors.

The Megalodon 2017 Titan with a blade length of 3.93" is a high-end EDC that can and will serve you will as a tactical option. The flat ground, satin finished blade is made from M390 stainless steel and can be opened smoothly with the flipper mechanism due to the ball bearing pivot. The ergonomically shaped handles are made from stonewashed titanium with flow-through construction and a hidden lanyard hole. This knife is sure to impress anyone who handles it with its excellent action, premium materials, and superb reach in a design you cannot help but love.

Pocket clip
Bevel for lock bar tension grabs your pocket hem. To the point where it will either rip your pocket or you need 2 hands to retrieve it. Bevels are angled exactly the opposite of what would be required to not snag on your pocket. Excellent knife if you want to just drop it in a backpack, or try and dremmel it for the right “right” angle on the bevel. Sadly I would say it’s a poor design flaw and hopefully would be fixed in future iterations of this otherwise fine blade. Not EDC for me. I’m not dropping this in my pocket. Back to my standby....

big knife in and sleek package
pretty nice knife overall (4.5), super light in the hand for size of knife. good centering and butter smooth pivot movement without closing too fast with gravity alone. only issue was an inconsistent detent on my knife for opening. the detent recess on knife probably too big allowing the ball to press in tightening up the detent firmness. b/c of lock bar design the clip sits more over the lock bar than the frame side. other that this, pretty nice like many of my real steel knives.

Real Steel did this one right, they should upgrade all of their folding knives like they did this one if they want to be taken seriously
