SCHOTF3S: Extreme Survival 3rd Gen OTF Viper, Satin Combo
Schrade brand knives have so many models - but they are cleverly designed, well made and really economical. These Out-the-Front openers are super fast and well made. They have a safety on the side and the mechanism takes a little getting used to, but they are truly awesome and impressive. The 3rd Generation Out the Front Assist model is no exception. It's got a 3.5" double edge spear point blade, tough aluminum handles, and a locking safety mechanism.

Cons: Handle Feel, Pocket Clip, Weight, None
Great knife, was very impressed
Very well built knife. Will go great in my collection. Very solid no slack when blade is extended. Be sure and check your state laws about the legality if it being double edged because in Texas that constitutes it as being a dagger or stiletto and illegal to carry but still legal to own in your collection. Very pleased with my purchase. The pocket clip is very tight almost takes two hands to affix it in your pocket. And due to the action it's a little bulky but well made.

Affordable and decent quality otf
I was really surprised at the quality of this otf knife. While not in the league of a Benchmade or Microtech it is 1/10th the price. Has a fair amount of play on the deployed blade but again not too bad considering the affordable price. While not a super functional knife (I don't think any otf's are) it's very fun to play with.
