This kit has an incredible list of features not found on any other kit in its price range. The clamp is metal with 7 slots for various angles. The clamp folds. The kit includes a handle as well as a mountable base. We feel this is a real value item.

Not the Equal of Others
This is a questionable concept that is poorly executed. The clamping system lacks the typical notched ends that lock a blade in position in similar products. This results in having the blade slip and eliminates holding the angle with the stones. The handle only engages one side of the clamp. The clamp folds, but the issue is that the "lock" to hold in in operating position is two weak sliding plastic channels which are sure to break soon. The stones attach with a threaded rod which is nice but that also means the full length of the rod protrudes from the stone eight inches or so. I would spend more money on a better system.

JUNK! Don't waste your money on this. The stones are glued to the holder . When I opened the box for the first time, one of the stones fell out. It wasn't even glued. Cheaply made!
