SLYSTHSE: Shark Tooth Hunter I, False Top Swedge
SLYSTEEL Knives

The Shark Tooth Hunter features the patent pending SLYSTEEL Split Finger Guard which fully protects the fingers during use. Whether this be protecting your digits during a tactical encounter, working with wood around the campsite, or breaking into an ammo can, the Split Finger Guard has you covered - literally. They can also be used as a skull crusher/set of brass knuckles in a non-lethal manner. This particular Shark Tooth Hunter is single-edged with a false upper swedge but is also available in a dual-edged model. The deep belly of the blade offers a versatile edge for skinning and butchering game but is also ideal for other camping and survival tasks as well. The blade is zoned hardened on the cutting edge for better performance and the spine a little less for added durability. The blade is epoxy powder coated to eliminate reflection and to prevent corrosion. The grip scales are textured brown Micarta for maximum grip even when wet. The full tang design features a lanyard hole and mini pry bar on the butt end. Designed by Oliver Hannan with technical input from experts at TOPS Knives.

Black or Natural finish Leather Sheath available here.

1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Kydex Sheath
Kydex Sheath
Waterproof, scratch resistant, and low friction. It will hold its shape and makes a great alternative to leather.
Micarta Handles
Micarta Handles
Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.

beware ! some-one let the SHARKS OUT !
bad to the bone ! BIGEST SHARK TOOTH I have ever seen. the black powder epoxy coating is kick butt too! kydex sheath is also nice and firm fitting.the reason I had to have one, is the u- tube videos showing abuse tests, and because its very different! how ever, two small details I noticed, first, its quite difficult changing hand grips. meaning from regular slicing grip to reverse grip, and other issue, was when wearing heavy lined cow hide gloves, the index finger (hole) is a touch small, but for a guy who wears a reg. x-large glove, it will do. great job (TOPS KNIVES) ! and you too SLYSTEEL. if SANTA didn't bring you one for X- mas get one from knife-center before their GONE !
