SOGFSAT98: FSAT98 Flash II Tanto
The Flash II Tanto has got to be one of the coolest knives we've ever seen. Forget its wicked-quick blade access, that it handles like a race car on rails, or that it locks up like Alcatraz. It just looks and feels extraordinary. The Flash family of knives feature SOG Assisted Technology™ (S.A.T.), which employs a powerful piston lock that is easily released with a sliding button.

The Flash II Tanto (Partially Serrated) comes standard with glass-reinforced nylon (GRN) handle and partially serrated edge, Satin finished tanto blade. All Flash knives come standard with SOG's patent pending, reversible bayonet mounted clip that ensures the lowest, most discreet carry possible. We also had the foresight to incorporate an additional safety lock that gives added security when the blade is closed.

Pros: Ease of Opening, Pocket Clip, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Excellent Blade!
I purchased this knife almost 7 months ago and it has been my primary EDC since then. Everything about this knife is excellent. The knife is very fast and easy to open because of its assisted opening action. The blade is good, a Tanto combo edge is probably not the best for everyday tasks, but if this is what you are looking for then you won't be disappointed. The handle is the best part about this knife. It is extremely ergonomic. The two finger grooves and the palmswell make it extremely comfortable to hold and use. It fits my hand like a glove. The handle material is just zytel, and is not very textured or grippy, but the handle is shaped so well that it negates the lack of traction. If you're looking for a lightweight tactical/EDC knife, go ahead and get the Flash 2. You won't regret it.
