SOGSP02: SOGzilla (Small - Half Serrated)

In devising this line that includes several sizes and blade shapes we wanted to make the Zilla distinctive. Zilla is fast, you wouldn’t want to try and outrun him! The grip is a dual directional prehistoric armor plate and the big-bodied blade features a new opening shape... the likes of which has never been seen before. In hand, the knife points instinctually and feels familiar. Steel liners make a stout construction. Keep your knife caged in your pocket with our patented low carry reversible clip. SOGzilla... It’s a new species. Don’t be caught alone!

Great knife for money
The SOGzilla is a great knife for the money in my opinion. I have had this knife for about 4 years now. It is incredibly light and thin, yet has enough handle to hold into / decent ergonomics. It also has a deep pocket clip. The result is that this is a knife you won't know you are carrying.... Very comfortable and great to carry. It is also a good utility knife.... Just for everyday EDC use. Again, I say for the money it is good.... One if the best little folders in this price range.

Pros: Lock Type, Pocket Clip, Weight, Blade Sharpness, None
Cons: Handle Feel, Handle Material
good economical folder
when i bought this knife i was looking for the plain edge but only the half serrated was available and i kind of wish i had waited . the serrations are very sharp but they are not the greatest design, in my opinion kershaw is the only company who really gets serrationg right. other than that my only other complaint is that its made in china. however it doesn't seem to be of poor quality like ive found in many other not american made knives. the handle material is pretty good but feels just slightly cheap. the blade is very strong and has a thick spine and a strong tip. lock up on these knives are tight and even after moderate to heavy use mine has not side to side or up and down play. the lock back design allows for a consistantly strong lock up but hinders fast opening . it has a large thumb hole to make one handed opening easy but like i said not very fas. the pockey clip is typical sog and rides very deep in the pocket. i dont find myself carrying this knife to often as i end up picking something of a little higher quality, but if you are looking to get this knife i would still recommend it as ive not had any issues with the performance. i guess it just lacks that cool factor for me but the construstion is solid blade is large and sharp and ergos are good. i only gives it a three due to it being made in chiina and for the mediocre materials used , still a good knife though.
