Pros: Lock Type, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Ease of Opening, Overall Quality, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Sharpness
I have several knives in this size range, and this is my go to EDC knife. The knife is very well made. I have been carrying one for years. It is thin and for its size it is lightweight, so it can be carried in a pocket. I prefer to carry anything larger than a pen knife in a belt sheath, which is what I do with this knife. Despite its light weight, this is a strong and durable knife. I have a medium-sized hand, and this knife just fits right. The texture and shape of the handle gives an excellent grip--wet or dry. These are not G10 grips, but it feels very much like textured G10. The curve of the blade and the shape of the handle make cutting very easy on a variety of tasks. One-handed opening and closing for this knife is fast, smooth, and effortless, as the lock is exceptionally easy to access and use. The blade holds an edge very well. The black coating on the blade will wear with use, but the blade is stainless. So for a working knife, who cares? I like this knife so much, I bought three. I also own the larger version of this knife (Visionary II), and it is as well made, but it is a big step up in weight and size. I think the Visionary II is too big for a pocket, and the one-handed operation is more difficult.
