SP183TIP: C183TIP Burch Chubby
Inspired by one of knifemaker Michael Burch's most popular custom models, the Burch Chubby packs tremendous cutting performance into a very compact package. It's 2.3" CPM S30V blade is an impressive 4.5 mm thick and more than an inch and a half wide at its widest point. The high hollow grind and sweeping edge profile give it amazing edge geometry and the matching hollow ground swedge reduces weight, ensures an acute point, and makes for easy and effective stabbing. The stout Titanium handle houses a Reeve Integral Lock mechanism and is accented by three circular carbon fiber inlays on the face scale. A sturdy pocket clip offers convenient right hand, tip-up carry and the design double as an overtravel mechanism for the lock. Quite a beefy little design, you are not giving up anything on cutting power and durability when you pick up a Burch Chubby.

Wow! When I got this knife
This thing is such a perfect EDC! Built like a tank, yet small and light enough to take everywhere. I've been eyeing these since they were introduced, but at over $200, for a knife made in Taiwan, no way (China maybe, but Taiwan?). Recently the price dropped to $170 and I really started getting excited. When posted for $140, I finally exploded with excitement.

Decent little knife
As a titanium edc fan, I absolutely adore the overall feeling when I grab this little chubby beast. Blade is fabulous, razor sharp right out of the box, cutting edge is surprisingly long enough despite the actual size of blade. One and only down side of this knife is lock. It might seem like late locking( I don't know the exact term, I'm trying to explain the opposite of early locking) but it seems alright because the lock seats firmly where it should be. However, due to such a small gap, it is a pure pain to disengage the lock. I have been flicking this knife for two days and my thumb finger nail is crushed amd soars. This is the reason why chubby only gets 4 stars. Hope the lock will get softer and my finger tip gets stronger. Overall I love this stout little knife. This is just right time to buy this knife, such a nice piece with reasonable price. Go for it folks.

Cons: Blade Material, Weight, None
I like robust knives and the Burch Chubby is a small robust knife. Fit and Finish are excellent. Lock is easy to operate with solid lockup. Lots of things to like about this knife. What I don't like is the blade shape; it doesn't seem to be a good utility shape. Would have liked to see a more exotic steel for the blade.
