Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
Wood Handles
Wood Handles
Provides a traditional, natural look and feel to a modern tool. Wood absorbs shock well and is popular in axe handles.

Quality blade!
Although not used in the the field much as of yet, this knife is serving me very well in the kitchen,- a true test of a knife. The blade came sharp enough for use straight away. The handle I found a little large for my hand but some time spent with a piece of sand paper fixed that. I'm not impressed with the sheath, it's needlessly bulky and loose. It would have been nice to know it had a rat tail tang and not a full tang before I ordered it. Knifecenters order was smooth with excellent shipping time. None of the negitives were enough to steer me away from this knife. The quality is excellent. I recommend this as an all around large knife for anyone not requiring a full tang.

Bushcraft Bad Boy
This is a follow up review. I have had this knife a while now and wanted to let you know how great it is. I have used it to split maple branches two inches thick, make tent pegs, beaver chew, make feather sticks and it keeps its edge. The blade is kindof thin so if your batoning the baton gets chewed up, but it gets the job done. Total work horse. I won't go camping with out it.

Buy this knife!!
I own Cold steel, Ontario, Case, Benchmade, Buck and now this, and this is by far my favorite. It is designed to be used. It has strong L6 Steel and has been perfectly heat treated. The blade design is perfect for skinning, in the kitchen, around camp, or for what ever you decide to throw at it. I use it every day, and its low cost allows me to put it threw tougher tasks that I would have a hard time doing to my benchmade. The sheath is made out of thick leather that is glued, stiched, then rivited together. Its made out of carbon steel so it can rust. Just keep it oiled and you will have a knife that will out live you.
