SW671: SW671 Extraction and Evasion Tomahawk
Smith & Wesson

This "extraction tool" is a formidable item. First you will notice the weight. It's heavy at 2 lbs. 11 oz.! The item is made from 3/8" stock and most of it is that thick. The removable handle grips have a slight texture allowing for a secure grip. This is a great item to have at your side when you need it. The head cover is a thick canvas with snaps that allow easy removal. There is a belt loop, but the weight of the tomahawk may not make belt carry practical.

A “Best Buy” ‘Hawk
Definitely a best buy in the mid-low cost tomahawk market. Full tang 1070 steel handle makes this practically indestructible. Not a first choice for a defensive/tactical ‘hawk r/t weight (unless you’re Conan the Barbarian), but a first choice to keep in the basement to extract your family from tornado debris, or in the truck to extract others from auto crash/home fire/etc. You’ll spend many times more with most T’hawk makers to get a ‘hawk this tough. At the current price I would latch on to several. Who wouldn’t want to receive this as a gift? Nothing says, “I care,” like a tomahawk ; )

Hey Carl
Hey Carl from Boise Idaho, it comes with a cover. I like it very much. Some of the top end ones cost as much as 400.00 . So I was happy with the price more than anything. And because it's solid steal handle. 5 star's

S&W Tomahawk
The S&W Tomahawk is exactly as described. I purchased this tomahawk because I was leery of purchasing one that would break or fall apart. It's heavy duty with a full solid tang. 5/16" spine/back and 1'' wide on the side. Let me repeat, solid. This item will never fall apart. The blade is very sharp and the point the same. This is a work horse of an axe, hatchet, tomahawk. Personally, I would say as far as many strikes in combat or emergency situations the handle grip should have had a lanyard hole, may need a little modification as in some tape for a surer grip in extreme situations. No problem at all, for what you get otherwise.
