A solid performer
I'm not a connoiseur of knives - just want a reliable but small pocket knife for everyday use, whether working around the house or out for dinner. Small and light were key considerations for me, as is a partially serrated blade for things that need more sawing than slicing. This S&W fills the bill nicely. It's not as light as the Gerber Bear I have been carrying, but it's much sturdier. I would have preferred a locking back rather than liner lock, but the liner on this one is easy enough to use. It's a classy looking knife too, with color highlights and semi-open frame. If you want a small pocket folder, it's tough to beat this knife for the price.

It's a steal
Well, no, it's not a Benchmade, but the price was one tenth of a Benchmade! For the price, it's a winner and I'm glad I bought it. The blade was dull out of the box, but so what? I sharpened it myself and now it's not dull any more :) Too early yet to say how the edge will hold with use, though. You can spend more on a breakfast at Denny's than this knife cost me, so I'd say buy it. Toss it in the trash if you don't like it. (But I like it.)
