Fallkniven describes this item as follows:

PXL is a modern, slightly larger folding knife for daily use (called EDC or every day carry). The stainless, adjustable blade is made in a stainless 3G laminate powder steel at a hardness of HRC 62, resulting in an edge which will keep its sharpness extremely well. The handle is in stainless steel and indestructible micarta, other materials will be an option for the future. The safe and strong liner bladelock allows you to open and close the blade using one hand only. PXL is offered with a strong, removable clip and offers a safe, fast and comfortable access to the knife. Please note that this folder is a precision instrument, a very sharp tool and should be used with care.

A folding knife of necessity can never be as strong as a sheath knife, since it contains several moving parts. If a folding knife is subjected to heavy use, it will inevitably result in a skewed blade with unreliable blade locking, and no guarantees cover this. A modern folding knife should be cleaned regularly with warm water and a mild detergent. Oil and fat should as far as possible be avoided, since today's knives have self-lubricating bearings. Fat and similar substances attract dust and dirt and increase wear rather than reducing it. The simplest way to sharpen the knife is with a fine diamond whetstone, and to obtain that final razor sharpness, use a ceramic whetstone, see our DC3 and DC4 combination whetstones.

We offer a two-year warranty covering defects in materials and in manufacture, i.e. faults that occur during manufacture but which are not noticed until the knife is used. We repair or replace the knife. The warranty is void if the knife is used incorrectly – the knife is intended for cutting with and is not for twisting, bending, chopping or hitting. Discoloring caused by blood, salt-water, or other corrosive substances is not covered by the warranty, neither is a broken tip.

An incompairable example of knife perfection
I have over a dozen folders from all the most well known makers, yes even Chris Reeve and this is the star of the collection. The materials, the workmanship, the design and the functioning are all perfect. It's only point of criticism would probably be it's weight. It is a bit heavy, but in your pocket it doesn't feel as hefty as it is. It's not only a precise tool but beautiful as well. I should stop gushing, if you can afford it you will absolutely love it.

Dear Friends My lovely wife bought this masterpiece as my birthday gift, last year. Now, I can express my opinion in a simple words: this is probably the best folder ever made. End of story.

Quality Beast
The Fallkniven PXL is an incredible piece of engineering. The knife definitely has some heft to it but that is due to the quality of construction and materials used. Everything is extremely well finished, the opening/closing action is super smooth and addictive and the ambidextrous thumb studs never have a chance to dig into your thumb. The maroon micarta handles have a wood pattern and feel perfect in your hand, but the most impressive feature is the blade. The 3G steel is fantastic and the edge is razor sharp out of the box. Doubtless one of my most impressive pieces and highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality knives.
