White River Knives

The BackPacker is an extremely versatile, tough (S30V) and light weight knife. A 'cross over' knife, it is well suited for hiking, hunting, tactical and more. The handle is wrapped in paracord for lightweight comfort and grip. Popularized by U.S. troops, paracord is strong, durable and mildew resistant which makes it an excellent choice for a knife handle. Comes standard with black paracord handle but several colors are available at no extra charge. Comes with a custom molded Kydex sheath for up, down or sideways carry.

Kydex is an extremely durable material that stands up to the toughest use without gouging or scratching. It's easy to clean up without damaging the surface or compromising the sheath. The Backpacker sheath design allows you to wear it on a belt in two ways, with the knife handle pointed up or parallel to your belt. It can be fixed for both a right and left-hand grab. You can also string paracord through the sheath and hang the knife from your neck without worrying the knife will slip out.

Incredible Value!
Super light weight, shaving sharp out of the box, sheath retention is excellent and doesn't rattle, quick disconnect adapters for the paracord neck line for easy release if snagged. The stonewash finish is beautiful and smooth, the top area of the choil (beneath the cutting edge) is smooth and rounded off to for protection and it also allows my medium sized hands to fully grip the knife with a bit of room behind my pinky finger. Fit and Finish is excellent. Also comes with a clip and screws similar to the Spyderco G-Clip for those who prefer a different way to carry. The paracord wrapped handle makes the knife lighter than the micarta version (Caper) and is pretty comfortable and nicely wrapped.

Best little knife I own
My son heard me raving about this from some of the youtube reviews I had watched, and bought it for me, I am still dumbfounded at how good it really is. I am in awe almost every time I use it, with the fit, finish, and capability of the knife. Get it, use it, and fall in love with just how well something fills the bill and looks awesome while doing it!

Great edc.
I have been using an izula as my edc and it is a good knife. I wanted to try a stainless blade that was a bit thinner and had a better edge angle. Got the backpacker and was very pleased with the quality , feel , ease of use. The sheath is good and has carry options. I carry ranger on my left side for right hand draw and works well and is very discreet. S30v is awesome. Holds edge well and not bothered by moister. Supper sharp out of box. I use this daily for every task you would expect a knife to do. I was concerned about a paracord handle as my izula had g10 scales.turns out I like backpacker better in my hand and on my belt. I say try one and you will rank it as one your most used knives.
