White River Knives

The BackPacker is an extremely versatile, tough (S30V) and light weight knife. A 'cross over' knife, it is well suited for hiking, hunting, tactical and more. The handle is wrapped in paracord for lightweight comfort and grip. Popularized by U.S. troops, paracord is strong, durable and mildew resistant which makes it an excellent choice for a knife handle. Comes standard with black paracord handle but several colors are available at no extra charge. Comes with a custom molded Kydex sheath for up, down or sideways carry.

Kydex is an extremely durable material that stands up to the toughest use without gouging or scratching. It's easy to clean up without damaging the surface or compromising the sheath. The Backpacker sheath design allows you to wear it on a belt in two ways, with the knife handle pointed up or parallel to your belt. It can be fixed for both a right and left-hand grab. You can also string paracord through the sheath and hang the knife from your neck without worrying the knife will slip out.

Great edc.
I have been using an izula as my edc and it is a good knife. I wanted to try a stainless blade that was a bit thinner and had a better edge angle. Got the backpacker and was very pleased with the quality , feel , ease of use. The sheath is good and has carry options. I carry ranger on my left side for right hand draw and works well and is very discreet. S30v is awesome. Holds edge well and not bothered by moister. Supper sharp out of box. I use this daily for every task you would expect a knife to do. I was concerned about a paracord handle as my izula had g10 scales.turns out I like backpacker better in my hand and on my belt. I say try one and you will rank it as one your most used knives.

No izula
Love this knife. Replaced my esse izula with this as my edc. And could not be happier. Blade is thinner, better edge angle, stainless s30v works better for me for all my needs. Kydex sheath is great for ranger carry. Not saying izula is not a good knife, it is good. But for me and my needs the better steel and being able deal with bad ( wet) conditions is a plus. Also feels great in the hand. Try one, you will love it...

best knife in my collection
Best little neck knife i have in my collection including non neck knives. Fine workmanship razor sharp from the box, very light weight but tough enough for intended use? paracord is of good quality and very well tied. My only gripe is the kydex sheath needed tightening to stop the slight rattle?
