Short click to turn off the light when finishing configurations. The selections for the second sub-levels are memorized after the light is turned off and through battery changes.

Great versatile little (and i mean little) light
This was my first Zebralight. The efficiency of this light (like most Zebralights) is excellent. The best part about this light is that it works on the common AA battery as well as the 14500 (lithium Ion 3.7V batteries). Its brighter with the 14500s, but the runtime is reduced. This light is easily pocket-able and i alternate it with a few other lights for carrying with me. This is a very bright light and is mostly a floody type of light (like most Zebralights). Since this one has a reflector, it has a hotspot and limited throw (shines out to a, limited, distance) The User Interface (UI) on this light (and all Zebralights) is amazing and carried throughout their product line. Depending on the click(s), you can go to either high, medium, or low with the first and last accessible with one click depending on the button press duration. A double click goes to medium, but the first click will flash at high for an instant. This is a detraction for some people, but i'm okay with it as the only time i'd be bothered by that would be if it did it going to low (to preserve night vision). This light (AA) and its 18650 & CR123 counterparts come with clips which i find very useful. I own the 18650 version of this (SC600w), but in a neutral white, which i actually prefer to the cool white. Still, you eek out a little more brightness with the cool white and i don't find it that bad unlike others who complain incessantly about the 'tint' :) To each their own though, for this light it works well. Although i really like this light, the headlamps, which i bought later, has more versitality. However, this light supports Alkaline (Alkaleaks), Lithium, NiMH, AND 14500 lithium ion batteries making it versatile. The AA headlamp will work with the 14500 voltage according to the specs, but from what i understand, the fitment is an issue (some 14500s fit).

Pros: Bulb Durability, Battery Life, Durability, Brightness
Cons: None
I have quite a few excellent (and expensive) flashlights, but the ZebraLight SC52 is my go-to light which I keep on the nightstand. It's mostly used in its dimmest mode as a way to get around in pitch dark without disturbing my wife, but, if more light is needed, it's there on demand. Because it is small and incredibly powerful, I rate it the best flashlight I own. I also have its big brother (ML600) which is a great light, but bigger and not quite as handy even though it throws more lumens
