great value
blade had a micro bevel which i took off very sharp good for wood carving with the scandi ground edge, compared to my other D2 knives this takes the best edge, very even handle scales good fit and finished and the D2 steel in this knife is some of the only D2 on a knife i've seen that doesnt chip out easilly.

Buy two or three!!!!!
I have never written any sort of review on a product...but on this knife I just had to...I have a few knives and believe the steel the grind and the temper make the knife....I've been fortunate enough to own knives like Aron Fredricks that was to pretty and expensive to ever use to several of the top end BlackJack knives in 1095 and one in 52-100 ball bearing steel...My favorite this has never cut anything but game....Well this under sixty dollar knife blows away one of my Black Jacks and without a doubt matches the one made of ball bearing steel...Perfect grinds...Fit and finish is flawless..The leather sheath on the BJ is nicer than the plastic one from Real Steal but its still a good sheath as far as plastic goes...Razor sharp...shaved my face...much tougher than arm hair..Time will tell if it holds the edge like 52-100 but so far so good..I'll be getting another.... and one of those Wharncliffe neck knives...

Good knife
Got this knife for camping so it has cut and split wood pretty well and does a good job at making feather sticks. I didn't use it for cutting up big stuff about 2-4 in wood. I like how it fits in my hand feels really good. It was sharp but had hard time cutting paper which was fine, didn't get it to cut out dresses got it for camping just tried doing most things with it 1. handle material. felt good in the hand but liked it to fit each finger a little better 2. sheath. just didn't the sheath that well seemed to do the job of keeping the knife in place. 3. not a big deal the blade wasn't that sharp, within seconds had it sharp (4). over all good knife
