Andre De Villiers Knives
The Pocket Butcher is the first Andre De Villiers folder to utilize a traditional slipjoint mechanism. Many people throughout the world are restricted when it comes to their everyday carry folding knife choice, living in countries that don't allow locking or one-hand opening designs. Others just want a knife with more classic styling yet built along the lines that have made ADV knives so popular around the world. Well, Andre now has the knife for you in the Pocket Butcher, a two-hand opening design with a very stout slipjoint mechanism.

It is roughly the same size and shape as the Mini Tac Butcher yet is stylish in its own unique way. The 3" Wharncliffe blade is made from D2 tool steel with a blood groove to aid in the opening, no half-stop safety, and a script De Villiers logo. The handles are made from smooth white bone inlaid into brushed stainless steel frames with a steel back spring for a very solid feel. It takes a large amount of force to close the blade so you can perform heavy duty cutting tasks with this sturdy design. The index finger groove and tapered shape of the handle make for a very comfortable hand feel during use. It ships in a way cool custom wooden box so the presentation of this knife to you or as a gift is top notch.
