CR5230: Tighe Tac Two Clip Point Folding Knife, Designed by Brian Tighe
Flip the switch and fire up conversations. The Tighe Tac Two everyday carry knife features a button lock with a flipper that makes it easy to deploy the blade. But its looks are what will turn friends' heads.

Brian Tighe has always found a way to artfully combine high utility with high style and his latest knife - the Tighe Tac Two - does just that.

The next generation of the first knife Brian created for CRKT, the Tighe Tac Two features a handcrafted clip point blade that gets the job done and looks good while doing it. Once open, you'll see this everyday carry is anything but everyday. But it's the way it closes that's sure to impress.

The ambidextrous button lock allows your fingers to be safely out of the blade's path when you're folding it shut. Meanwhile, an ergonomically designed handle gives you a secure grip with contoured scales that feel like a natural extension of your skin.

If you want a fresh take on an old classic, reach for the Tighe Tac Two.

Expected better from CRKT
I just bought this knife from KnifeCenter because of its attributes that were shown at the 2016 shot show. I received my knife without issue and after a couple of days I finally had time to look it over and check out its function. I immediately noted that it opened very reluctantly, feeling somewhat gritty. I also noted that I have to use my fingernail to fully depress the close button so it will release the blade (it feels like it's catching on something). In several videos I've seen it looks like only moderate thumb pressure is needed to depress the button. Is this a fail or is it a safety feature? ...I don't know so I guess I need to contact KnifeCenter to find out and see about an exchange. I know this is the beginning of a production run but like the title says, I expected better from CRKT. Their QC really needs to be addressed!
