Description
BCB400CFB: B-400-CF-B, Bear Song IV
Bear OPS

Bear Ops (and their parent company Bear and Sons) makes good quality, but affordable, butterfly knives. Generally, their flies are black or silver--muted tactical stuff. They got a wild hair this time and brought out a range of them in fun to flip colors for a change of pace!

Bear OPS butterfly knife with black powder coated 1095 carbon steel blade and drilled out carbon fiber handles. It has a smooth locking latch and is put together entirely with Torx screws.

1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Carbon Fiber Handles
Carbon Fiber Handles
Very strong and lightweight material. Provides an upscale and modern feel.

Cons: Overall Quality
Faulty Product
I wish i did my research before spending $140 on this product. It's main fault is the fact that it's held together by faulty screws. As soon as one comes undone the hole knife falls apart. A good balisong is held together by permanent bolts, not cheap screws. and sure you can screw it back together, but only if you recover the fallen screws, just to have it fall apart later anyway.
