Christmas gift for my wife
I've been talking to my wife about carrying a knife for a while now. In her profession, a large knife such as the cara-cara or endura just isn't feasible. I was looking for a delica, and saw this so I thought I'd give it a try. I didn't want to purchase anything over expensive before knowing that wife will in fact use it. There is jimping in all the right places. The jumping on the blade is excellent. Its deep, narrow and very functional. The jumping on the handles slabs is shallow, wide and not very functional, but its there. The handles are very slick. The clip is nice and stiff. And t All the screws are black! The grind on the blade was even, but very rough. It looked as if they used 80 grit sanding belts to put the primary bevel on the blade. It took me FOREVER to work those grind lines out. But, after about an hour and a half, the edge is now polished to a mirror finish.
