Pros: Overall Quality, Weight, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard, None
almost a hit
The knife is a great all around winner except for the handle size...it's to short for XXL hand size. Just 1" more in the handle length would have made the knife a 5 star. Sheath does the job, but for $80 should get something a little better

Return of the Delta Raider !
You can get this knife scary sharp and it will hold it´s edge. It feels light in the hand but still got very much power and it does not falls short compared to my BK9 but the H&K is much lighter ! This seems to be a spin off of the classic Benchmade Delta Raider but a bit larger and under the H&K name. But it´s definitely Benchmade quality. I was a bit worried about the stainless steel which i think is 440c. But it has held up just as well as my other choppers in 1095. This is a good blend of fighting knife, survival and do it all knife. The sheath could have been better though. This have become my main user.

A big lightweight tough knife
A wonderful big but lightweight knife. Perfect for backpacking. I have used this knife for batoning and chopping, carving wood and cutting up meat and vegteables. One of the sharpest knives I own. Due to the lightweight you can have an enormous speed in the swing so you can almost get the same power as a heavier knife. The slight curvature of the blade increases penetration. Edge holding and retention is excellent. Could still shave hair after three hours of heavy chopping and batoning in the woods ! This 440c is very tough. Benchmade know what they are doing. I wish that the handle were a bit longer but it is still adequate, its full tang. Nice traction on the handle. A glassbreaker would have been nice too. The sheath is a bit flimsy and has no molle a bit strange though, cause this knife has a tactical approach certainly meant for military use and abuse If you want a big but lightweight supersharp knife that is really tough, this is it !
