BO01BO608: Boker Plus Subcom Desert and Green G10 KnifeCenter Exclusive
Boker Plus
The Subcom Folder from Chad Los Banos was one of the keystones of the Boker Plus lineup, and quickly became one of the most popular designs from Boker. The Subcom folding knife has a municipal-friendly blade, at 1.875" long and 0.8" thick. The blade is black coated 440C stainless steel and boasts an ambidextrous thumb stud. The reversible pocket clip and compact size of this frame lock knife make for an ideal money clip. Both thumb and palm index ramps provide for a secure grip. This model is exclusive to the KnifeCenter and features an upgraded desert and green G10 handle.

Fantastic Knife - Exactly as Advertised
I work in a warehouse and I use this to cut boxes, unload supplies, remove staples from boxes, and a bunch of other crap. Always been a huge Los Banos fan and kudos to knifecenter for doing an exclusive on this bad ass design

Pros: Weight, None
Cons: Lock Ease of Use, Ease of Opening
Quality and performance poor enough for me to send it back.
I have wanted this knife as a small pocket back up for quite some time. I finally bought one and found out that it was hard to open with 2 hands and impossible to close one handed. It was so tight I didn't even want to work on the pivot or add some lube to help it out. Knifecenter took it back with no questions asked. I appreciate that and realize that not every knife is going to be a keeper.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Weight, Overall Quality, None
Cons: Lock Ease of Use, Pocket Clip, Blade Material
Well, at least it's something different.
I have to agree with another reviewer that if I had paid more than $25 for this knife (shipping included) I would have given this "exclusive" a lower rating. This is basically a niche knife that fills in the category of a small light weight mouse knife that can also double as a money clip. In my opinion, its a good office knife that will not alarm your co-workers. Although razor sharp right out of the box, the 440-C blade steel is just adequate for light duty task. There are better choices than this knife, which includes the Cold Steel Mini-Tuff, but if you want something different with a G10 scale in the tact-kool FDE color, this certainly fits the bill. Overall build quality is very good. The reversible pocket clip is a little bit too tight for my taste, and I had to judiciously bend it out to fit my jean pocket. My only other thoughts of this knife is that it would make a good "give away knife" that won't make you broke.
