Awesome knife, decent sheath
I intend this to be an utility knife. Turns out pretty decent, but you got to be careful if you want to slice something that is flat and wide - the blade profile does not serve best for chopping onion! That being said, like over viewers, I am slightly disappointed by the sheath. No, as long as you really snugged the blade in, it would fall off. Problem being you can't attach your Tek-Lok to it, and the clip come with the sheath has a fixed width - it could be a problem for you.

1st disappointment from Spyderco
I own many Spyderco knives and this is the biggest disappointment from them. The blade wasn't grounded well and there are few scratches on the surface. You can tell from the light reflections on the satin blade finish that there's a very uneven patch on the blade surface near the spine. As I don't have another Schempp Rock for comparison, I would think that it's actually a flaw in the manufacturing process. It does looked like what you'd get from a cheap china blade. The blade came seal-wrapped though, but out of my so many spyderco pieces, none came seal-wrapped, which makes me suspect that this piece may have been a rejected piece. I didn't bother to have it returned as my shipping cost & hassle isn't worth it.

Awesome knife
This is light as a feather and slices well. Not the best copper because of the weight but regardless, I would take this anywhere.
