Steel Will Knives
The Cutjack flipper is Steel Will's take on the perfect multi-purpose everyday knife. It features a classic combination of black handle scales with a satin finished blade. The Cutjack's high flat grind ensures excellent cutting properties while the superior handle ergonomics and finger choil allow for a secure and comfortable grip in multiple positions. The blade deploys quickly and smoothly using the flipper tab and locks up snugly. Lightweight and compact, this knife may be carried unobtrusively using the stylish pocket clip which is reversible for right or left-hand tip-up carry.

D2 is a semi-stainless tool steel that exhibits excellent characteristics as a blade steel. This air-hardened steel is more corrosion resistant than other high carbon steels due to its high chromium content and offers a good mix of toughness, wear resistance, and edge holding ability.

FRN is a lightweight material that is durable, resistant to water, and easy to clean. FRN handle scales may be molded with complex shapes and textures to improve ergonomics and slip resistance.

Excellent knife for the money!
Wow. I really like this knife. Excellent blade--hair shaving sharp. A little disappointed that it is made in China. I guess as long as it is good quality, the money saved is a bonus. I love the blade profile, and the finger choil to choke up on the blade for fine work is awesome to have on a flipper. Very light. Maybe a little too light for my taste. I like a knife that feels like it can take a beating. I haven't done any heavy bushcraft work on it yet, but I'm sure it will perform decent. It also needs a little assistance with opening. It's not a spring assist. It must have some kind of magnet on it that offers some resistance so when you push on the choil part to open, it helps to "automatically" open (kind of like a spring assist). However, there is a little too much friction to pop open all the way most of the time. It needs a little help. Despite some of the draw backs, it is definitely a knife worth getting. I'm thinking on getting more for friends and family. I'm thinking on upgrading to the beefier Italian model with the ball bearings to help with the "assist" for myself. The profile and choil can't be beat. Love this knife. Bottom line? Get this knife! It's worth it!

A good EDC
The knife is light and thin making it barely noticable in your pocket. Extremely capable slicer but, it came from the factory with a pivot that was screwed down way to tight. It was difficult to flip open consistently. Once I loosened the pivot just a little it flips smoothly and consistently.
