Al Mar Knives
The Al Mar S.E.R.T. (Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team) Automatic has machined aluminum scales and superior ergonomics providing a superior grip, while the ambidextrous Deep Pocket Clip provides exceptional retention and comfort, while remaining discreet and unobtrusive. Combined with a coil-spring action, positive safety, and textured release, the S.E.R.T.'s powerful opening keeps its 3.3" blade where you need it: the right place at the right time. The modified clip design allows for precision work, while still providing the strength and durability needed to cut through seat belts, rope, and just about anything else! It's as tactical as it is functional, and as fast and fun to play with as any AUTO out there. Another excellent design from Al Mar Knives.

My 1st Al Mar
I've wanted an Al Mar for some time (a full size SERE, in particular) but couldn't quite justify a folder whose price is equivalent to my Fallkniven A1. However, when I saw the price on this model I jumped on it right away. Everything you hear about Al Mar for $150 and an auto, no less. I'll make just a few points about it. The useful size and modest weight make it edc ready. Beautiful steel with makers mark etched on it (mine is also etched with "1st production"). Quick, firm action. The clip is VERY tight. My only criticism is that, despite the product description, the release button isn't textured. In fact, it's the same size, shape and level as the pivot screw right next to it so could cause some momentary confusion in an emergency. In reality, I have no complaints at all and am excited to have this knife.

Love This Knife
This knife has become by favorite EDC. It opens fast and locks in place. The blade holds a good edge too. Everything about this knife I like and there's nothing about it I don't like.
