5 for the blade meh for the sheath
The Knife is beautiful. It is big ,slighty overall longer than the BK 9 ,slightly shorter cutting edge than the BK 9 due to the choil and by 0.25 " balde thickness significant thicker than the BK 9 . The choil first looks something strange but is really handy for detailed work was somewhat surprises how good it works and feels in hand . The handles are nice but require some work .The handles are not as half as comfortable than the micarta ones on the BK .Blade finnish is Excellent though the edge is not the sharpest and need some work .nothing to get excited about for me .The spine is at 90 degrees and sharp and will spray sparks with a fire rod .i love that knife .for everyone that wants a uncoated 0.25 thick something near a BK 9 . get one . ah oh the sheath . yes. it is there. the little front pouch ...okc , really ?....is useless. no molle back .is scheisse ( crap in german) . if you want to carry the knive around you definatly use another sheath .nice lanyard and nice working ferro rod.
